How Long Will Each Treatment Take?
Typically, a treatment will be approximately 30-60 minutes.
First, you will have a comprehensive complimentary consultation with our Practice Nurse and Clinic owner and Doctor, Dr Anoop Rastogi in our Sydney clinic.
During this consultation, the practitioners will determine how long your treatment should take, how much the treatment is, and what the treatment looks like. A treatment to many areas of the face, will not take as long as one smaller area, so it is best to allow enough time for the consultation, and the treatment.
You then may wish to sit with numbing cream on which is included in your treatment costs. This makes the treatment a bit more comfortable.
How Long Will The Results Of Volume Treatment Last?
Results can last anywhere from 6-12 months. It is important to keep in mind that every patient is unique and that results can vary from individual to individual.
You will see instant results, that will initially look swollen. Over the next 12 hours after your treatment, the swelling will go down, and this can be helped with ice, placed on the area treated.
Some patients may experience some initial bruising. Patients who take blood thinners prior to their treatment, have a higher chance of bruising.
How Much Does Volume Treatment Cost?
During your complimentary consultation, we will disclose the costings for your treatment. In line with the AHPRA guidelines, we cannot disclose prices, but it is important to note that costings for the treatments do vary due to many variables such as:
- Extent of the procedure
- Number of treatments needed
Risks
Although volume treatment is associated with little downtime, no cosmetic procedure is completely without the chance of side effects. Your aftercare instructions will help you to minimise some of the side effects. However, there are potential risks, such as:
- Lumps or asymmetry
- Bleeding
- Skin damage
- Infection
- Skin necrosis
- Scarring
- Unsatisfactory results
These side effects are quite rare. However, if you experience concerning symptoms, ensure that you contact the clinic for professional advice.
