Who Is Dr Rastogi (Biography)

DR ANOOP RASTOGI B. MED FACCS

Born the son of an artist and a doctor. Dr Anoop Rastogi inherited a creative passion from his mother and a love of medicine from his father.

Needing to satisfy both facets of his personality, Dr Rastogi was naturally drawn to cosmetic surgery where surgical precision and finesse could be appreciated equally along side artistic flair.

Dr Rastogi grew up in the beach side city of Newcastle, Australia and began his medical career in 1989, graduating from the University of Newcastle Medical School.

He served his surgical residency at home in Australia before travelling overseas to complete his advanced training in cosmetic surgery. Dr Rastogi is a fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and holds procedure specific registration in breast surgery, liposculpture and body contour surgery, cosmetic facial surgery and cosmetic medicine.

Dr Rastogi’s cosmetic surgical training was both intensive and inspiring, having the honour of training under acclaimed surgeons such as Georgio Fischer MD in Rome the father of Liposculpture, Docteur Jean-Luc Bachelier in Paris and Dr Anthony Erian the then President of the European Academy for Cosmetic Surgery. Under Dr Erian he trained at the prestigious Cosmetic Surgery units of Guys Hospital London (Nuffield House) and the Cambridge Private Hospital.

Back home in Australia Dr Rastogi established a thriving practice in Sydney’s elite Double Bay where his reputation speaks for itself.

Over the past several years he has become noted for his beautiful body contour work and currently sees patients from across the country and around the world. He is particularly known for his very natural style of breast surgery, his beautiful Liposculptures, and his skill with a needle.

Dr Rastogi is a former Director of Training for the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and has also held the positions of Chairman of the Academic Subcommittee and member of the Ethics Subcommittee of that college.

He is frequently asked for comment in the popular media and is an advisor on cosmetic surgery to several organisations. Dr Rastogi sees his role in this respect as an educator to the public.

With his gentle hands, warm nature and level of skill, Dr Rastogi is very popular amongst his patients.
